SCVMUN LV is proud to collaborate with OpenSecrets for this year’s conference. OpenSecrets is a national recognized 501c(3) dedicated to providing nonpartisan resources and expert guidance on campaign finance, lobbying, and political transparency to deepen delegates’ understanding of how money influences policy. Delegates will practice evidence-based debate, and develop policy proposals grounded in transparency and accountability. This partnership strengthens SCVMUN’s commitment to rigorous research and ethical leadership, equipping delegates with the tools to responsibly address governance and corruption in international policymaking.
Donations:
During committee, delegates will be able to donate to Open Secrets through either cash, Venmo, PayPal, Google Pay, or Apple Pay donations.
The “Humanitarian Excellence Award” will be awarded to the committee with the highest average donation per delegate. This will be calculated by (Total Dollars Raised)/(Total Number of Delegates).
